Joanne Docherty, Gym Manager/Head Coach
Joanne has nearly 20 years of experience coaching gymnastics to ages 3-18. She is a member of the National Association of Women's Gymnastics (NAWGJ). Joanne is a former Class II Gymnast at Johnson Dance and Gymnastics in Garfield Heights, Ohio. Married since 1986 to her husband Bryan, she has two wonderful daughters Katelyn and Heather. Her daughter Heather is also a coach at Gym X-Treme.

Ric Voorhies, Optional Team Coach
During the course of his gymnastics coaching career, Ric has coached many state champion teams, NCAA champions, scholarship gymnasts for NCAA Div. 1 Schools and several USAG Level 10 National Qualifiers. In 1999, Ric opened the Gym X-Treme Canal Winchester location. Ric holds a bachelor's degree in PE and Health from The OSU and is an American Fitness Training of Athletes (AFTA)-Certified Personal Trainer.

Heather Docherty, Team Coach
Gym X-Treme Alumni, Heather, is a former Level 10 gymnast carrying on the family tradition while coaching students in Levels 4-8. She is studying architecture at The Ohio State University.

Rhonda Sprague, Rec and Team Coach
Rhonda is a lifelong competitive gymnast and coach originally from Gallion, Ohio. She has held a wide range of coaching and leadership positions within the YMCA Gymnastics Circuit and is a former head coach for the Lancaster High School Gymnastics team. Rhonda attended The Ohio State University where she majored in Elementary Education.

Lisa Wooten, Rec, Pre-Team, Jr. Trainers Coach
Lisa is a Cental Ohio native, comes to Gym X-Treme with a lifetime of training, competing and coaching experience, spending the majority of childhood and adulthood in gyms and dance studios. Her favorite part about coaching is helping students learn new skills and accomplish the goals they have set for themselves.

Maddy Few, Rec Coach
Maddy is a Level 10 Gymnast for Gym X-Treme and is a student at Reynoldsburg High School. Her gymnastics goals include winning a gymnastics scholarship to a college where she can study in the Veterinary field.

Jessica Serrano, Rec Coach
Jessica is a Level 10 gymnast for Gym X-Treme. She is a student at Bishop Hartley High School and volunteers for many community projects. In the future she hopes to win a gymnastics scholarship to a college where she will study Nutrition or Sports Medicine.

Kelley Counts, Rec Coach
Kelley is a graduate from Capital University, where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been involved in gymnastics and cheeleading in many capacities for over 15 years. She participated in cheerleading at the high school and college levels. While in college, Kelley worked as a recreational gymnastics coach, teaching young children gymnastics and cheerleading. When she is not at the gym, Kelley teaches reading at Columbus City Schools. She is very excited to become a part of your child's life and looks forward to watching them gain confidence and skills!

Katie Lantz , Rec Coach
Katie coaches Cheer and Tumbling classes. She is studying Early Childhood Education at Ohio University Lancaster. As a child, Katie began taking gymnastics when she was five years old. She participated in cheerleading in High School. Her favorite part of coaching is teaching her students new skills.
